The Community Aftercare Program (CAP) at Zia Recovery Center provides a welcoming, social café-style recovery space for individuals in recovery from substance use disorder. It offers a safe environment where members can connect with peers, share their experiences, and continue strengthening the skills needed for long-term sobriety.
This program is designed for individuals seeking a supportive community and addiction aftercare in Las Cruces after completing a treatment program or receiving a professional referral. A minimum of 30 days clean and sober is required to participate.
Outpatient groups are held 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night, and Peer Support Services are available to enrolled members every weekday.
Membership qualification and acceptance may vary depending on intake assessment.

The Community Aftercare Program at Zia Recovery Center is designed for individuals who have completed an addiction treatment program or received a referral from a provider, and have at least 30 days of sobriety. Admission is determined through an intake assessment to ensure the program supports the individual’s recovery needs.
Can I join CAP if I completed treatment somewhere else?
Yes. The Community Aftercare Program accepts individuals who have completed treatment at Zia Recovery Center or another recovery program, provided they meet the sobriety requirements and complete the intake assessment.
Are peer support services available in addiction aftercare programs?
Yes. In the Community Aftercare Program, enrolled members can access peer recovery support services every weekday, allowing them to stay connected to the recovery community and receive support during challenges.
