The importance of aftercare and community is being proven to increase positive outcomes in people’s recovery journeys.

Our Community Aftercare Program at Zia Recovery Center is a social-cafe-style environment for people in recovery from substance use disorder looking for a safe place to hang out.  This program is designed for people seeking aftercare and a supportive community once they discharge from a facility or treatment program for SUD or a referral from a provider. A minimum of 30 days clean and sober is required from any referral source.

Outpatient groups are held 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night.

Peer Support Services are available to enrolled members on a daily basis every weekday.

Membership qualification and acceptance may vary depending on intake assessment.

Zia Recovery Center FAQ's

Does Zia Recovery Center offer both inpatient and outpatient programs?

Yes! We offer a structured “step-down” approach that begins with Inpatient Residential Treatment and transitions into Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and standard Outpatient (OP) care as you gain stability and independence.

Do your Las Cruces locations provide detox support?

Yes! Our withdrawal management program is the first step in our recovery process. We provide a safe, supervised environment to help your mind and body heal from the damage caused by substance abuse before moving into active therapy.

How does community aftercare help me?

Our Community Aftercare Program (CAP) provides a safe, “social-cafe” environment for alumni. It offers a supportive peer community, daily support services, and weekly group meetings to help prevent relapse and maintain long-term sobriety after formal treatment ends.

Does your staff offer 24/7 support for substance abuse?

Absolutely! Our residential and detox facilities are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We ensure that someone is always available to provide accountability, medical support, or just a listening ear—even in the middle of the night.

Can I begin services at any point in your program?

Placement is determined by a clinical assessment. While many clients begin with detox or residential care, we meet you where you are. Depending on your current needs and history, you may be eligible to enter directly into our PHP or IOP levels of care.
